All our GRP tanks are designed and built to BS4994 1987 or BS EN 13121. During our many years of experience we have built up a reputation as a market leader, supplying GRP tanks to some the following industries:

We manufacture a wide range of GRP storage tanks in a variety of materials from 100 Litres to 100,000 Litres many of which are widely used as water storage and chemical storage tanks.

Straight GRP backed up with resistant vinylester resin

PP – Polypropylene – max design temperature - +90°C

UPVC – Unplasticised polyvinyl chloride – max design temperature - +60°C

CPVC – Post Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride – max design temperature - +90°C

PVDF – Polyvinylidene Fluoride – max design temperature - +130°C

ECTFE – Ethylene and Chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer – max design temperature - +140°C

Dual laminate GRP combines the mechanical strength of GRP with the high chemical resistance of a thermoplastics inner shell. The strength is beneficial when it comes to larger sizes of tanks and vessels, or where relatively high temperatures or specific gravity dictate.

Flocktons use and can design and fabricate in Celmar/GRP (fabric backed polypropylene), CPVC/GRP, PVDF/GRP, UPVC/GRP as well as GRP and consequently are completely unbiased when it comes to specifying the right material. Therefore, you can be assured that we will specify the most appropriate material to safely meet your requirements.

The outer surfaces are pigmented to suit clients’ requirements, using a RAL or BS 4800 colour.

The extensive range of GRP tanks come c/w fill lines, top manways, cowled vents, outlet c/w valve and extended operating handle, overflow c/w downpipe, connections for tank to bund and bolt down feet.
